it's not that we loathe the convenience, its that we see the details in the older technology, the resilience, it's beautiful
there is romance in that which is long defunct but still functional, a persistence that mirrors humanity, i think
Currently have two film cameras in my posession (one is a basic point and shoot, brownie 127, and the other is an SLR, Praktica Super TL) and a typewriter (brother deluxe 220 - probably from 1969, but i need to double check!)
